The honest part
Why two vendors quote different prices for the same trailer.
01
Trailer age
A 2024 unit costs the vendor more to buy and finance than a 2016 unit. Newer trailers quote higher and look more like the marketing photos.
02
Drive distance
A vendor 8 miles from your venue will almost always beat one 45 miles away. Same trailer, half the diesel.
03
Off-peak hunger
Vendors discount aggressively for January to March bookings and Sunday events. They are paying for the trailer either way.
04
How they price staff
Some vendors bundle attendant time into the base rate; others itemize it. Compare the all-in number, not the headline.
When to book
Demand cycles hard in DFW. The same 4-stall trailer is $1,650 in February and $2,400 in October.
Bars show booking-demand index, 0 to 100, where 100 is the year's peak.
